Taking its name from the year Robert Grey completed building Linlithgow's historic Cross Well (with one arm, no less!), Café Bar 1807 is located just a hop, skip and a jump away from the well itself on Linlithgow's High Street. Formerly the "Auld Hole In The Wall", Café Bar 1807 opened in March 2017 and serves top-quality food, beers and cocktails.

Hello and welcome to Platform 3. We may not be the biggest pub in Linlithgow, but what we lack in size we make up in character, service and pride. In recognition of this, we have been consistently awarded a Gold Best Bar None Award and in 2013 we were awarded Community Pub of the Year and our then manager was awarded Best Bar Person of the Year by the Scottish Licencing Trade News (SLTN Awards). In 2014 and 2015, we were again one of the finalist in the Community Pub of the Year category and awarded Runner Up.

The Four Marys
The Marys in question are the four ladies-in-waiting of Mary, Queen of Scots, who was born over the road in Linlithgow Palace. Back then, there was no pub here, but the building The Four Marys occupies was already standing as a family home. It means this welcoming family-friendly pub has a tremendous historical atmosphere. With its low ceiling, stone walls, cosy corners and attractive bar, it feels like it's been here for ever. The great range of 40 malt whiskies, 10 Scottish Gins and ever changing real ales, such as Caledonian Deuchars and Belhaven St. Andrews, adds to the air of tradition - as does the delicious menu of classic dishes.
